"Progress towards the Lisbon objectives in education and training - Indicators and benchmarks 2009"
This annual report looks at Member States' progress towards five key benchmarks in education and training for 2010. Although progress was achieved, four of the five 2010 benchmarks for education and training are not likely to be met. Only the benchmark on increasing the number of graduates in maths, science and technology was reached.

The Manifesto for Creativity and Innovation in Europe
The "Manifesto for Creativity and Innovation in Europe" is one of the key outcomes of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009. The document is the result of a collective work of the Ambassadors of the Year, who are leading European personalities from the fields of culture, science, business, education and design. With its 'Seven Commandments', the Manifesto will help shape the EU's strategy for promoting creativity and innovation for the next decade.

"Education &Training 2010" compendium

The "Education & Training 2010" compendium of the Commission's main policy initiatives and outputs in education and training since the year 2000. It includes the 2008 Communication "An updated strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training" and the influential 2006 Communication "Efficiency and Equity".

The Education Council of 12 May adopted conclusions endorsing the Commission's
"Updated strategic framework for European ooperation in education and training"
(E&T 2020). This policy framework will guide the European Commission's open method of
coordination in education and training until 2020 and is therefore an important
document for everyone working on European cooperation in all sectors of education

Knowledge System on Lifelong Learning
The European Commission has developed the KSLLL (Knowledge System on Lifelong Learning) website which will offer the possibility to find easily accessible and up-to-date information on mutual learning in the fields of education and training for the development of lifelong learning in Europe.
