Special Centre for Research in Theories and Practices for Overcoming Inequalities (CREA)

The Centre of Social and Educational Research (CREA) undertakes research projects that contribute to theoretical and practical developments in the social sciences. It is chiefly concerned with the analysis of present-day society and with the development of measures to solve the problems that it faces, particularly in the fields of education and training.
More than 15 research projects are currently being undertaken with the common aim of analysing social inequalities and the type of training needed to overcome such imbalances. This research is eminently practical, aimed at applying measures that will ensure certain social groups are not excluded from a society undergoing the information revolution.
