N O R N A P E (Nordic Network of Researchers About Parents in Education)

This network was established in 1993 under The Nordic Academy for Advanced Study. The purpose of the network is to work as a critical, informative, theory-generating base for

1. studies of partnership between parents and teachers in education and local society

2. training of doctoral researchers

3. exchange of information between researchers and organisations dealing with the subject

4. collecting information on research and development in this field in the Nordic countries

The Nordic network NORNAPE is to be regarded as a satellite to/a branch of the EURO­PEAN NETWORK OF RESEARCHERS ABOUT PARENTS IN EDUCATION - ERNAPE
