International Centre for Career Development and Public Policy (ICCDPP)

The ICCDPP is dedicated to improve policies, systems and practices for career development for citizens worldwide through international collaboration. The Centre provides evidence bases for policy decisions, policy related studies, policy examples and developments examples of good practices and services relevant publications by :
1.
knowledge production and development:
bringing together policy makers and the
world's leading thinkers, researchers, practitioners in the field of guidance
by means of international symposia and networks in order to assist policy and
systems development at international, national, regional and local levels.
2. knowledge transfer through:
- international resource sharing (using a web based global learning network; quarterly newsletter)
- international institutional cooperation
- international project groups (established to address specific needs and goals)
- international symposia linked together by common themes and issues.
The Centre is supported by the OECD, the World Bank, the European Commission, and by the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance, the Canadian Career Development Foundation, the European Training Foundation (ETF), the education ministries of Australia, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand, and by USA and UK national organisations and institutions. In December 2006, the International Centre For Career Development and Public Policy was registered as a legal entity in France. Its status is that of a not-for-profit organisation.
