Job Description

  • Director of CKK or the Centre for competence and knowledge building in higher education (Centrum för kompetens och kunskapsbildning).
  • Coordinator for the Diploma of Higher Education teacher training program for full and part time teachers at Chalmers.
    Teacher in the 6 pt module TLC 101 Pedagogical Project, and 3 pt modules TLC 102 Teaching, Learning adn Evaluation and TLE 202 Supervision of Research.
  • Educational Researcher (recent action research includes the area of ICT and Pedagogy, Curriculum Reform, Flexible Learning, Group Learning and Appropriate Assessment, Gender and Multicultural issues in Education). Research is presented at about 3 international conferences per year, in two or three journals annually and in inhouse publications (for example Changing perspectives in Engineering Education, 2006).
  • Project manager for four educational development projects at CKK, Chalmers, 2000-2006, namely, Appropriate assessment, the Flexible Learning Network, Engendering good group-work learning and the Constructive alignment of the curriculum. Currently on the board of the IMPACT project and responsible for two commissioned projects within CKK.
  • Main supervisor for one current doctoral student, Maria Berge.
  • Member of the pedagogical subcommittee of GUN.
  • Editorial member Aust Journal of Adult Learning.
  • Pedagogical referee for about thirty applicants for jobs and promotion within Higher Education in Sweden
  • Pedagogical consultant for Chalmers teachers and departments (I, M and V)
